We popped into The Keys in Yarm for a light lunch yet ended up leaving stuffed. I can pretty much sum this up in a few words; great service, good menu and excellent food!
We sat outside as it was lovely weather. They have had a revamp of the beer garden and I have to admit, it had a slightly upmarket feel. The service was prompt and our waitress was friendly, telling us about her recent holiday.
We ordered 2 starters to share: Garlic pizza bread and Nachos. I’m not sure how you would manage this as a starter on your own followed by a main (and believe me, I can eat) but this is never a negative thing in my eyes; the more the better! The presentation of the food was good, especially as the nachos had the sauces in side dishes – always a bonus.
Overall the bill came to £16 for 2 starters, which were enough to fill, and 2 drinks. Not too pricey and a gorgeous setting in Yarm, especially in the sun! Definitely worth a visit for lunch!
